Just a reminder that it's real individual people we're talking about here.

Update: Almost forgot. Fuck yeah, WikiLeaks!

Thanks.

Afganistan too. "We have shot an amazing number of people, but to my knowledge, none has ever proven to be a threat," said [General Stanley] McChrystal during a recent video-conference with troops, the Times reported. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/04/02/mcchrystal-weve-shot-an-a_n_523749.html

Couldn't bear to watch the extended version. To say
this is sickening is an understatement of colossal magnitude. Good for you for helping to disseminate it, but don't be surprised if you soon find yourself on some government list.

If I'm not already on some government list, the government isn't doing its job (or at least what it seems to think its job is).

I asked my go-to Army guy in Iraq for his reaction. He writes,

"Another case of "let's hear it for the internet."

This is a case where someone murdered this journalist and others standing around. Yes it is bad and guess where this was all over the news...Right here in River City! It is just too bad that it didn't make it out for a couple of years. I don't really think that this is going to be our version of the "pentagon papers" but it is good to show that there is some accountability in the world.
